“What if I can’t join every week for the Brave Space sessions?”
Life happens, and we understand that your schedule may vary from month to month. That's why I invite you to join our brave space at a weekly rhythm that works best for you. You have the flexibility to participate in the sessions you can attend, and if you need to take a break, you can pause for up to 90 days without incurring another $300 activation fee.
In our Brave Space private access Resource Vault, you'll find Weekly Reminders, Reflection prompts, and Scripture meditations that allow you to engage at your own pace. This means you can stay connected with The Brave Space community while also honoring your personal journey.
When you're ready to re-enter the live sessions, rest assured that you’ll never feel “behind.” Each session is designed to stand alone, contributing to your cumulative growth and transformation. Join us when you can, and know that your journey is uniquely yours!
“How do I know the group will stay female‑only, confidential, and safe?”
-
Women‑Only Entry: Registration requires a brief intake form, then, after having a Discovery Call follow up with Tami, you will fill out a form for
-
a statement of faith and
-
a confidentiality covenant.
-
-
Confidentiality Covenant: Every member signs a clear agreement: What’s shared in Brave Space stays in Brave Space. Breaches result in immediate removal and forfeiture of fees.
-
No Outside Contacting Rule: Members agree not to solicit private meet‑ups unless both parties explicitly consent by directly going through Tami inside the platform’s direct-messaging area.
-
Moderator Oversight: Tami will quietly monitor breakout rooms and chat logs for safety.
-
Camera‑Off Culture: You never have to reveal your face or legal name; you can choose a screen name that keeps you comfortable or create one. At the start of each session, Tami will often give a "Brave Space username prompt," inviting members to create a name that reflects the session’s theme.
“What are The Brave Space Membership Costs?”
The cost to join The Brave Space Membership entails a $300 non-refundable activation fee (saves your seat in The Brave Space and then a requested Spirit-led monthly donation that you personally decide that honors God, yourself, and Tami’s Brave Space ministry. (You will be asked to fill out a monthly donation pledge form with the amount you decide. This will encourage accountability and receive monthly donation commitment email reminders)
The non-refundable $300 expresses "skin in the game" on the part of the one enrolling in The Brave Space and allows their seat to be saved for up to 90-days of "pause" without having to submit another $300 activation fee.
“May I "pause" my membership if other commitments arise?”
Yes! "pausing" stops your personal monthly donation commitment while still reserving your seat. You retain The Brave Space Resource Vault access but cannot join live calls until you un‐pause. You may pause up to 90 days per calendar year without a new $300 activation fee. (Instructions to "Pausing" are found at the bottom of this page)
--> However, if the pause exceeds 90 days, you will need to submit another $300 non-refundable activation fee to regain full access to The Brave Space.
This structure is a way to honor you and your leadership roles/responsibilities when accommodating other commitments that arise in your life while maintaining your seat in The Brave Space.
“What does it mean to secure my seat in The Brave Space?”
Your non‑refundable $300 activation fee keeps your place in our capped membership roster—even when you pause or miss calls—so you never lose priority re‑entry. Think of it as holding a chair at the table that’s always yours.
“What does The Brave Space ‘Resource Vault’ mean?”
Once you activate your membership, The Resource Vault opens for you: a private (pass-coded) Brave Space online library of:
-
PDF prep & debrief guides
-
Bonus reflection resources and Masterpiece online retreats (most are free/some at special Brave Space Member Rates)
-
Scripture meditation/devotional snippets
“How many women will be on each call?”
The Brave Space would like to maintain a cap at 25 active seats (which includes members who have "paused" but still have active reserved seating) to protect intimacy and allow every voice space to share (even if your mic stays muted). If we begin to average a weekly attendance that exceeds 25, we will offer a 2nd identical Brave Space on a different day/time for new/future enrollees.
“Will we ever be asked to turn on our cameras or reveal our names?”
No. Cameras stay off by default; using only a screen name requested by Tami at the beginning of each session (ex. Tami might invite the members to each create a username for that day’s gathering that gives the Scripture reference to a verse they have been meditating upon). Tami will invite volunteers to share on mic, but speaking is always optional.
“Will Tami have her video on for every session?”
Yes. Tami models presence and connection by keeping her camera on, so you can see the facilitator even if you remain unseen. This provides a stable, reassuring focal point while preserving member anonymity.

How to Pause Your BRAVE SPACE Membership
At THE BRAVE SPACE, we all understand that life moves in seasons. That’s why The Brave Space Flex-Path Membership is designed to allow you to pause your membership without losing your place.
What Does “Pausing” Mean?
Pausing your membership means temporarily stepping away from your monthly donation commitment and active participation in the live Brave Space sessions, while still keeping your seat saved in the community. Thanks to your non-refundable one-time $300 activation fee, your access to The Brave Space Resource Vault remains, and your spot is held for whenever you’re ready to re-enter.
Step-by-Step Instructions to Pause Your Membership:
1. Decide to Pause
Reflect prayerfully and discern if this is the right time to pause. Life transitions, demanding seasons, or simply needing to catch your breath are all valid reasons.
2. Notify Tami by Email <--
Send an email to Tami at tami.thorsen@gmail.com with the subject line:
“Request to Pause My Brave Space Membership”
In the body of your email, include:
-
Your full name
-
The email address associated with your membership
-
The month you would like your pause to begin
-
Optional: A brief note about why you’re pausing (for context, not required)
3. Cancellation of Recurring Payments
Once Tami receives your pause request, she will stop sending you your monthly donation commitment email reminders.
4. Keep Your Seat Saved
Even while paused:
-
Your lifetime resource vault access remains active
-
Your spot in The Brave Space community is still reserved
-
You can return when ready—without needing to pay another $300 activation fee
5. Re-Enter When Ready
--> Email Tami at tami.thorsen@gmail.com with the subject line:
“Ready to Re-Enter The Brave Space”
Let Tami know which month you want to rejoin, and she will reinstate your monthly donation commitment email reminders and activate access to join The Brave Space Calls. You’ll pick right back up—no need to reapply or start over.
Gentle Reminders:
-
You can pause and re-enter as often* as your season requires. (*up to 90 days in one calendar year without paying the $300 activation fee again)
-
Your transformation Brave Space seat is yours—it doesn't expire.
-
The $300 activation fee you paid ensures your spot is held, your vault stays open, and re-entry is smooth.
